I have added a new Geoblog to my blogroll - Stratigraphy, by my internet acquaintance Bruno Granier of Carnets de Géologie fame. Here's what Bruno says:

"I am currently digging the Jurassic-Cretaceous system boundary (it is currently considered as equivalent to the Tithonian-Berriasian stage boundary; there are [a] few people, including me, who consider that it should be shifted up to near the Berriasian-Valanginian boundary)".

The first post on the blog is entitled "On the Trail of a Major Trans-Tethyan Discontinuity".
